My Eyes Or More Specifically The White Around My Pupils

My eyes or more specifically the white around my pupils turns red after showering. sometimes very red and last anywhere from 30 to 45 minutes before returning to normal. Thuis occurs on a consistent basis, at home and when I travel for business to different parts of the country. I'm trying to determine why.
