My Family Has Just Added A 2 Month Old Kitten

My family has just added a 2 month old kitten that we found to our home. We have been bottle feeding him along with starting him on solid food recently. I thought my 6 year old had gotten chicken pox because of the spots all over and itching. I am also experiencing the same symptoms, however, I have already had the chicken pox when I was her age. Neither one of us are sick at all and no fever what so ever. I am starting to think it is something else. Any thoughts on this? Thank you.
