My Father Age 80 Suffering From UC From 8 Year

My father age 80 suffering from UC from 8 year after colonoscopy by doctor .. prescribed mesacol 400 and wysolen10 continue that medicine it check 60% .now continues that medicine five day before he suffer abdominal pain with like vomiting not eating solid food only taken liquid food . blood report normal ultasound report of abdominal normal but digital. X ray indicate abdomen not normal.please suggest what to do
