My Father Got The Pacemaker Implanted In The Year 2014/2015....After

My father got the pacemaker implanted in the year 2014/2015....After the implantation he suffered from arterial fibrillation in the year 2016..angiography was done and report was fine...however every time he feels shortness of breath and coughing does not stop once it starts. He has become week day by day and his age is 70. I need advice if we can remove the pacemaker or try stopping it for sometime....Please suggest.
