My Father Had A Catheter Removed A Week Or So

My father had a catheter removed a week or so ago. In the last couple of days he has had painful urination and a "jellyfish" like substance in his urine. It is the color of urine and burns when he goes to the bathroom.
He has diabetes, recently has had a severe case of gout and kidney stones.
