My Father Has Been Diagnosed With Dementia. What Can I

My father has been diagnosed with Dementia. What can I expect as it progresses? He currently exhibits memory loss and occasional disorientation. Is it safe to move him from his home at this stage or should he be left in his own space for as long as possible? I have a room for him when the time comes, but I don't want to create more stress - is it better to move while he is still understanding?
