My Father Has Been Diagnosed With Liver Cancer. He Was

My father has been diagnosed with liver cancer. He was scheduled for an operation to remove the part affected by the tumor however, when they opened him up doctors found that both the right and left side of the liver has already been affected. Doctor even said that his liver is already cirrhotic. I would like to know if there are supplements and pain relievers that he can take? Supplements to (i dont care how little) to repair damaged parts. Pain reliever to manage pain.
