My Father Has Had Surgery For Throat And Mouth Cancer.

My father has had surgery for throat and mouth cancer. He is now in palliative care with submandibular and supraclavicular tumours. He is currently on 6mg hydromorphone over 24hrs by syringe driver. Can you tell me if this dose is low, moderate or high and how high a dose is still possible to go to as his pain increases. Thank you.
