My Father Has Just Started Lupron With A 4 Month

My father has just started Lupron with a 4 month injection. He has heart valve problems with ejection fraction of 30%, aneurysms and has had two strokes. The doctor did not advise there were problems with these conditions. Should we be concerned? Also, does this injection pass through my dad's body fluids for the entire 4-month period where my mother should be taking prevention with rubber gloves? he is catheterized and total care by us.
