My Father (in India) Is 76 Years Old. 3-4 Days

My father (in India) is 76 years old. 3-4 days back he developed urine infection...dr treated him for 1-2 days and then all tests came normal so my father stopped taking medicine as advised by doctor.....in couple of days the infection came back, high fever and non stop hiccups.....should we be very concerned....dr. has asked him to some more urine tests
