My Father In Law Had A Large Cyst Removed From

My father in law had a large cyst removed from his head. The dr said there was another mass deep underneath that he couldn't reach. He had a scan today which revealed, a half dollar size bone deterioration on the skull. He is being sent to neurologist tomorrow. What is your take??? Never heard of bone deterioration on skull. Thank you.
