My Father-in-law Has Had A Few Of These Episodes In

My father-in-law has had a few of these episodes in the past year or so. He has pain in the chest area and cannot sleep because of this. It is difficult for him to stand, etc...I have never witnessed an episode but my mother-in-law tells me he seems "out of it" and confused. He has gone to doctor after an incident like this, and it was not a heart attack. He does take high blood pressure pills and he is 79 years old.
