My father in law is in the hospital. He is on dialysis and only one kidney. His heart is functioning at 15% and just had his gall bladder removed. His blood pressure is low and drops to around 75/40 when he stands up.? He has been in icu for 5 days and it is unknown when he will be going to a step down. They also removed about a gallon of fluid off his abdomen. His legs are swollen and the skin is cracking. What do his chances of coming out of this? The dr.s are surprised he made it through the surgery. He is 72
