My Father In Law Who Is 96 Was Told He

My father in law who is 96 was told he would benefit from having his pacemaker replaced with a 3 lead pacemaker. He is alert and good for his age. We are concerned about having him go through this procedure at his age and the risks after the procedure. What are your thoughts. He has a low ejection rate and congestive heart failure and Dr.is saying this will help. Right now he is doing fine--should we do something if it really isn't broken??
