My father is 80. He is taking Crestor and fenafibrate. He is an alcoholic. He has macular degeneration. He has developIn the last years he has lost 50 pounds. He does not take CoQ10. He has developed severe short term memory issues in the past 24 months. I'm having trouble getting him to the doctor but his thiamine was fine last time he was checked. His diet is passable but he does not eat enough and takes no supplements. Should he be taking the cholesterol drugs?
