My father is 81 and has prostrate cancer that had spread to his liver, ribs, hip and maybe other bones. What would his life expectancy be? He was diagnosed after it spread to his hip and it was too late for chemo and radium and then went on trial hormone drugs. He also has a turnout in his lower bowel.

Generally he has been a very fit man, who is slim but looks younger than his years. He has not lost weight, but his appetite is now poor and he can get very tired.
