My Father Is On Coumadin. He Is Bleeding From The

My father is on coumadin. He is bleeding from the mouth and his doctor took him off the blood thinner and admitted him in the hospital. What should we expect from the hospital? Should they be checking to make sure he is not bleeding internally as well?
