My Father Recently Died Of Chemo Toxicity Associated With Chemotherapy

My father recently died of chemo toxicity associated with chemotherapy for AML. In the end, there was a combination of liver failure and congestive heart failure. The doctors explained to us that there is a physical connection between the heart and liver and they kind of backed up and failed together. I have been trying to understand the physical connection between the heart and liver, but can't find a good graphic. Can you explain?
