My father(66 years) is DM-II patient, taking Apidra(fast acting insulin)-BL & BD and Lantus(Slow acting insulin)-Bedtime.His Blod glucose level are maintaing. Doctor also recemmneded to take vobiglose 0.2/500(VOGLIBOSE /Metformin).
Is it necessary to take this tablets along with the insulin.
