My Father(83 Years Old) Has Parkinsons Disease And Has Been

My father(83 years old) has Parkinsons disease and has been on Mirapex (4.5 mg per day) and sinemet for 12+ years. He was having hallucinations so doctor had him stop Mirapex 10 days ago. We tapered to 3mg for 2 days, 1.5 mg for next 2 days and then zero Mirapex. Hallucinations ended 2 days after final dose of Mirapex, but at same time severe depression, agitation and loss of motor skills began. Doctor added entacapone to his regimen but this has had no effect. We think he is in Mirapex withdrawal. What should we do?
