My Feet And Legs Tingle And Hurt Bad Especially At

My feet and legs tingle and hurt bad especially at night. I'm taking 600 mg gabapentin at night but it still hurts. I am not a diabetic but sugar is about 105. Should I have tests or go to neurogolist? I live in small town with no specialist but have very good GP.
