My Fiancee Had A Headache For Over Two Weeks. It

My fiancee had a headache for over two weeks. It runs up from the base of the neck and over both ears into the temples. His eyes water when he closes them and he said he feels like a strange squirmy sensation at the temples. We have been to the ER twice and several docs. They did nothing and told him to go rest. They had suspected a spinal leak and did a blood patch...the blood patch was excruciating he said. My fiance said he felt like his head would blow off when they put the patch in. He also said the blood patch amplified pain in his hips shoulders and midback.

I had some prednisone here, so I gave him 15 mg 3 times daily. It lasts about 4-5 hours then the headache comes back. He has no pain meds, he's suffering a lot. The docs don't care here. I guess they just want people to give up and die or something.

Does anyone have any idea what's going on? He has MRI of skull, neck, and low back..he's had EEG and blood panel. Last blood panel, his hemoglobin was high. The doc said to use folic acid.
Thanks anyone who can help my fiance.

Sincerely,
Kirsten
