My Fiancé Has An Irregular Heart Beat And For The

My fiancé has an irregular heart beat and for the past 3 days he has suffered from gas trapped under his shoulder blade. He is taking metaprolol Er 50Mg tab. We have tried Nexium & 250 mg gas pills and the gas will not move. He is a smoker and has been advised to stop.
