My Five-year-old Puggle Was Diagnosed A Couple Weeks Ago With

My five-year-old Puggle was diagnosed a couple weeks ago with slipped discs near his neck and by his tail. He was given a regimen of prednisone which he is almost weaned off of. I also suspected during his attacks of pain that he may have suffered a couple of seizures and that was verified today when I took him to the vet and showed him The video that I took on my phone of the episode. I am not sure how long it takes the dog to recover from a seizure and what their behaviors might be.My dog was also in pain and it was difficult for him to move and I suspect it was his discs. My vet took some blood work today and will let me know in the morning the results and the possibility of putting him on phenobarbital . After my vets office closed today my dog had an attack of pain but no seizure and he cries when I try to pick him up underneath his belly so as not to hurt his spine. I guess my question is is the pain in his spine and the seizures related? At this point I am afraid to pick him up because I don't want to hurt him. My vet has hinted at a veterinarian neurologist as a possibility in the near future because his concern is my dog having seizures at age 5 and none were noticed when he was young so he suggested the possibility of perhaps a tumor causing this Age. Thank you!
