My Friend Accidentally Slammed My Finger In My Locker A

My friend accidentally slammed my finger in my locker a bit ago. I went to the nurse right after it happened and she gave me ice and sent me on my way. But now,
a week later, it still hurts if I put a bit of pressure on it. It's on my right ring finger and it's the part above the nail, but not the joint (not sure what's it called). It doesn't really hurt if I move it; I play piano and and write a lot (it's on my dominate hand) and doesn't really hurt. I'm just wondering if it's just a bruise because it doesn't really look like one, besides a small dot of faded purple.
