My Friend Fell And Hit Her Head On The Floor.

My friend fell and hit her head on the floor. She now has a big "goose egg" on the back of her head, which hurts quite a bit. She is not nauseas or dizzy, vision and speech are fine. We iced it for fifteen minutes but the condition persists. What do you advise? Emergency room? Tylenol? Should she be allow to go to sleep? Does she need to be watched for the next 24 hours? Woken during the night?
