My Friend Got Hit In The Stomach So Hard He

My friend got hit in the stomach so hard he was propelled backwards off his feet. He is very regular with his bowel movements and goes after waking in the morning however last night a few hours after being hit he had a bowel moment. It was rather small and the tail end of it was reasonably bright blood. He's refusing to go to the doctor so I thought I would ask you what going on.
