My Friend Has A Blood Clot On The Left Side

My friend has a blood clot on the left side of her brain and needs surgery,she recently left Perth Australia finishing her university final exams she has travel back to India for a month holidays and has been diagnosed while in India on holiday then flown back to Perth ,Australia but she is flying back to India for treatment surgery and family support is it a higher risk for her to fly at the risk of forming more clots or is it essential that quicker she undergoes surgery the better outcome
