My Friend Has A Distended Stomach That Makes Her Look

My friend has a distended stomach that makes her look like she's nine months pregnant. It appears as soon as she gets up in the morning and worsens throughout the day. She's had numerous bowel operations in the past but these symptoms have become more frequent and more painful. She has had unexplained bruising around her mid section for no known reason and recent lab tests show abnormally high protein levels and wbc. She's had an EGD, Colonoscopy, CT with negative results. Her breath has become very offensive, almost with a fecal odor but is unable to eat any amount of food at one time. Bowel obstruction has been ruled out and she has been referred to an Oncologist/Hematologist for further evaluation. Celiac disease has also been ruled out.
