My Friend Has Been Sweating Profusely For A Few Days

My friend has been sweating profusely for a few days and thinks its menopause. . She is in her late forties so that may be the cause. My concern is she also has pain in her back and chest and is overweight. She went to clinic but didn't want to miss too much work so didn't get seen and she will call in at eight am for an appt. She is sleeping now. Can you give advice, please.
