My Friend Has Had Bouts Of Pain In The Right

My friend has had bouts of pain in the right and middle portion in the region below the chest. He has not had a proper diet for a month now. His blood reports show he has low level of cholesterol with all other parameters within range. He was told to have stones in his left kidney which are of minute size of 2-3 mm . Kindly help and suggest what could be the possible reason behind such pains.
