My Friend Is Exhibiting Strange Behavior And I Don't Know

My friend is exhibiting strange behavior and I don't know how to approach it or how to deal with it. He has been showing signs of paranoia, getting information from "rocks" (he reads them), turns off the gas because someone is trying to "blow up the house", finds "X" in different locations in our yard, feeling defensive and irritable and has "wolf spiders" living in his foot. Any suggestions?
