My Friend Is In The Hospital And So We Can't

My friend is in the hospital and so we can't get any information from the doctor but apparently his bowels exploded this is over three weeks ago and he still in the hospital with tubes and everything coming out of them he thought that maybe are weak he can't talk but I thought that maybe you had food poisoning because he was in bed for a week I'm in the bathroom and I finally felt so weak that he couldn't breeze and so they took him to the emergency room because his balls explode it I can you tell me what the cause of exploding bowels could be. Colon cancer? Food poisoning?
