My Friend Was Hit By A 3" Piece Of Cement

My friend was hit by a 3" piece of cement coming off a conveyor belt in his left eye/eyebrow area. So far no dizziness or extreme pain, but there is some swelling and a cut under his eye and on his eyelid. White of his eye is red and he says he feels like there is some dirt or grit in his eye. What is his best course of action?
