My Friend's Dad Is Bed Confined...diabetic On Peritoneal Dialysis And

My friend's Dad is bed confined...diabetic on peritoneal dialysis and on blood thinner. He has asymptomatic scrotal edema "about the size of a softball". Can you explain reasoning for this other than dependent edema? Is there reason for concern at this point? ...if there are potential issues with this, what are they? My email is YYYY@YYYY ....
