My Friend's Mom Is Forcing Her To Take Antacid Tablets

My friend's mom is forcing her to take antacid tablets after being told by the school my friend was vomiting. She's been vomiting after every meal for about 2 months but when she told her mother she was ignored. She's making her take 8 tablets a day and has done so for 3 days so far and plans to continue doing so. I'm worried that much calcium isn't good for her. She's 14 and if anything the tablets are making her more nauseous. Her mother is refusing to take her to a doctor despite my friend asking her to take her to one.
