My Friend's Wife Is Using Serenace For Last 10 Years

My friend's wife is using serenace for last 10 years . Last week she got developed respiratory problem . She underwent treatment in hospital. At that time the doctor suggested not to use any other medicines. They have given some medicines and some steroids . After 5 days they discharged the aren't. She is under medication. Except the serenace that is haloperidol. Today she is feeling very well

So I want to know by stopping the serenace will it affect ? Your valuable advice please....
