My Gf Is Panicking Because Her Period Had A Heavier

My gf is panicking because her period had a heavier flow than usual and her cramps were also worse than usual. She said the cramp was in her lower left stomach when i asked. She looked it up online and saw that it could mean that she became infertile. Can she become infertile from her period like that? And if so what are the chances of that happening?
