My Girlfriend Had Her Tubes Tied (30 + ) Years

My girlfriend had her tubes tied (30 + ) years ago and the surgeon cut into her bowels ? and had emergency surgery to fix it ? and says that she has incurred stomach pain (off and on ) ever since the operation and is telling me that it's normal.What do you say ?
