My Girlfriend Has Not Had Her Period For 2 Months

My girlfriend has not had her period for 2 months now, thinking she was pregnant she went for lab test and the test was negative. It getting to the third month and still there is no sign of it coming. I want to know what's the cause and what medication is available to help her
