My Girlfriend Hurt Here Back To Has Two Crushed Vertabreas

My girlfriend hurt here back to has two crushed vertabreas from past injuries . An upper an lower one . She has pain shooting down her right hip an all the way to her toes. She has no insurance or medical card . Is there anything that I can do for her here at home to help ease here pains and discomforts ? Or would it be wise to take her to the ER? She's 39 four kids and she's been up moving around alittle bit through out the day . What should I do?
