My girlfriend is pregnant and she wants to have an abortion. The problem is that her blood type is A- and mine is 0+, meaning that if she does have an abortion her body might reject the Rh of the next pregnancy. I know that there is an injection which helps with this, and from what I have read, the injection works. What are the actual dangers and how common are they?
