My Girlfriend Who Has The Nexplanon Implant Had A Uti

My girlfriend who has the nexplanon implant had a uti over 6 weeks ago she was prescribed antibiotics she only took 2 pills her infection cleared up in a matter of days, we have been using condoms ever since just in case but would the implant be less effective? Also the antibiotics which do reduce the effectiveness does this last for a certain amount of time or does it permanently reduce the nexplanon implants efectiveness.
