My Granddaughter Is 6 1/2 And Was Put On Madadate

My granddaughter is 6 1/2 and was put on Madadate about 1 month ago and is doing much better in school but once she gets home at about 5 o'clock thats it she is again bouncing off the walls , doesnt listens at all . She also does not sleep as well since on the medication . She was seen by her pediatrician today to follow up and she added a medication for her to take along with the other on , its called guanfacine 1mg taking 1/2 in the AM and 1/2 right after she getts home , kind of worried
