My Granddaughter Is Only 2 Months Old. Her Mother Noticed

My granddaughter is only 2 months old. Her mother noticed purple splotches on the bottom of her feet today. The only thing we can think of is she has a Fisher Price Infant Activity Play Mat and there is a large keyboard at the bottom so when she kicks, the music plays. She plays on the mat often. Could that cause bruising??
