My granddaughter is six and a twin. She many physical and mental issues, she is blind and deaf but very active, even though she has one leg that isn't developing, which is a result birth and treatments which is another all together. She just recently started about three months doing gratification syndrome, at first we thought it was a new movement she was doing because she very active and all over the place, but I realized that it was becoming more consistent, back to back, so my daughter who was first in denial started doing some research and realized it wasn't uncommon. Now the question is what can we do, we own and operate a Home Childcare business, and this is her home, and of course it goes on frequently. Stopping her seemed to aggravate her, of course it very embarrassing. We don't want any other children picking up on it. She will be back in school soon. Are there any type of medication or supplements she can take?
