My Granddaughter (who Is 4 1/2 Years Old) Is Recovering

My granddaughter (who is 4 1/2 years old) is recovering from an E-coli infection where she had bloody diarrhea. She has been feeling better and urinating adequate amounts for the past 4 days. Today, she developed a nosebleed and my daughter is panicking that she may be going into kidney failure. Is a nosebleed cause for concern? She said it was brief.
