Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
My grandson has a lump on the top of the bridge of his nose since birth. He was born by C-section and received a small nick from a scalpel (he was face up) just below the lump. I think it has increased in size but my daughter doesn't think it has gotten any bigger. It seems more noticeable at times... sometimes when he is tired or has cried. It has a slightly different colour compared to the rest of his face... perhaps a bit of a pale yellow or white tinge. The family doctor that my daughters family sees has suggested it is a calcium deposit and has arranged an appointment for my grandson (10 months old) to see a Paediatric ENT specialist. What do you think the lump could be? Is it likely causing him discomfort?
