My Grandson Is 7 He's A Very Picky Eater And

My grandson is 7 he's a very picky eater and he only weighs 43 lb s. his mother says that he has some sort of blood disorder but we don't know what yet. How abnormal is this and what can be done to find out what is wrong?! Please help with any input you have. Thank you. S.Andrews
