My Grandson Plays With Insects And Now I Am Told

My grandson plays with insects and now I am told he has worms which is grossing me out. He is suppose to spend the night with me tomorrow. Should I allow that or should I go to his home. Is it contagious? If this cost money I will have to tell you I cannot afford to pay anything.
